As you can tell by the slope rating, this is a very difficult & challenging endeavor.

Beautiful scenery. The front “8″ are very fun and is a good challenge for the average “hacker”. The back 9 (9-17) is very difficult. Fairways slope to the trees where OB stakes await. Long hitters and those who can shape their tee shots can get by the trouble areas. The rest of us need to plan on playing bogey + golf.

The finishing hole (18) is great fun and a long established par 5.

The beauty of this course and the super people that you meet from Libby will keep you coming back.

There aren’t many destinations like the Flathead Valley left in this country. As $100 green fees and overcrowded courses become the status quo, the high-quality golf and tranquil environment of northwest Montana endure as one of the most enjoyable bargains.

We traveled from Missoula to Kalispell today and after a grueling 10 mile crawl on newly chip-sealed road we decided to take a break from driving and headed for Mission Mountains Country Club. What a surprise. The course is excellent and the views of the mountains amazing. Rates are low, but the quality high. Friendly staff and a great course to play on.

I have been golfing at Polson Bay Country Club for a couple of years and I love it. The fairways and the greens are just they way that they should be. Roger is running a great golf course. When he did the father and son tournament my dad and I had so much fun and it brought us closer than we already are and I would like to say ‘Thank you Roger Wallace and the rest of the staff at Polson Bay Country Club!’

I’ve golfed Buffalo Hill Golf Course for 32 years, and never get bored. Every round is different due to all the lakes, rivers, doglegs, variety of trees, hills, sand traps, not to mention the unbelievable views of Glacier Park, Big Mountain Ski Resort, and Rocky Mountains. The staff is the friendliest. The rates are very affordable, especially a season pass. I hope to play 32 more years so I can shoot my age.

The courses in the Flathead Valley are some of the greatest courses in the United States. Rates are VERY reasonable and quality is outstanding! What a tremendous value. Beats Hilton Head, Myrtle Beach, desert courses, and a host of other destinations. Our group will be back to Kalispell to play golf again soon.

I live in the Flathead Valley and have golfed in a lot of different parts of the country. I must say that the Flathead is one of the most beautiful areas in the country and the golf courses offer a wide variety of scenery and challenge to fit everyone’s taste.

“We had some great times and meals in Whitefish. I’d have to say the most memorable was the Whitefish Lake Golf Course. We like to come in the spring or fall so the only thing we really need is good weather, shopping, and the nightlife.”

“Meadow Lake Resort provided spacious accommodations and convenient location to the golf courses. The variety of golfing available in NW Montana is the most memorable part of my trip.”
